傑出青少年運動員選舉由香港體育學院(體院)主辦,運動燃希望基金贊助,以及得到中國香港體育協會暨奧林匹克委員會及香港體育記者協會鼎力支持,以季度形式表揚本地19歲以下青少年運動員的傑出運動成績。運動燃希望基金傑出青少年運動員選舉 2019年第三季頒獎典禮於 2019年12月12日假體院舉行,本會游泳運動員陳睿琳及謝林恩獲頒傑出青少年運動員獎項,以表揚其卓越成績。
陳睿琳於英國舉行的2019世界殘疾人游泳錦標賽中,勇奪S14級女子100米蝶泳銅牌;而謝林恩則於中華人民共和國第十屆殘疾人運動會SB14級女子100米蛙泳及S14級女子100米蝶泳贏得兩面金牌,因而獲選為「傑出青少年運動員」。
陳睿琳亦以時間1:06.45再次刷新女子100米蝶泳(S14)的亞洲紀錄。

Organised by the Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI), sponsored by the Sports for Hope Foundation and supported by the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China and the Hong Kong Sports Press Association, the Outstanding Junior Athlete Awards (OJAA) recognises the achievements of outstanding local junior athletes under the age of 19 on a quarterly basis. The Sports for Hope Foundation Outstanding Junior Athlete Awards 3rd Quarter 2019 Prize Presentation Ceremony was held at HKSI on 12 December 2019. Our athletes CHAN Yui Lam and TSE Lam Yan Karen were awarded in recognition of their excellent performance in the quarter.
CHAN Yui Lam and TSE Lam Yan Karen were named OJAA by their outstanding performance at London 2019 World Para Swimming Championships and 10th National Games for the Disabled respectively. Yui Lam won a bronze medal in the S14 Women’s 100m Butterfly while Lam Yan got two gold medals in the SB14 Women’s 100m Breaststroke and S14 Women’s 100m Butterfly.
With record of time 1:06.45 in Women’s 100m Butterfly (S14), Yui Lam also refreshed the Asian Record again.
